Great Contest
The greatest real estate agent in the world contest is in full swing and we are right in the thick of it. No, it’s not a contest to see who is the greatest real estate agent, but, who can rank a page for it. The competition is tough, but, it’s a great way to learn how to improve our online marketing presence and we feel that the time and effort put into this will really pay off for our clients so we are in it to win it!
So far we have used press releases and a few blog posts to rank, but, can’t seem to crack the top three. With some more work and a few more posts, hopefully someone will pick up on our take on the contest and we can get a few additional links to from them and put us over the top.
the approach I decided upon was to actually start a conversation about what the greatest real estate agent in the world would have as intrinsic qualities and, since I myself am a real estate agent, I thought it might be a good chance to learn what others thought and improve myself at the same time. Others have taken the approach of writing a bunch of articles and trying to get links through controversy and linkbait. That’s just not my style. I’m not going to trash someone and my opinions are just not that controversial (at least on this subject) to get viral with a benign topic.
